Anubias barteri var. coffeifolia
Plant in a 5 cm pot
Anubias barteri var. coffeifolia is a beautiful low-growing variety of Anubias barteri. The plant grows 15-25 cm tall and the creeping rhizome 10-15 cm. Characteristic are the convexities between the veins and the reddish-brown new leaves. An attractive variety for large and small aquariums.
It often flowers submersed but does not form seeds underwater. It seems that Anubias species grow so slowly that they do not even notice they are submerged. Not eaten by herbivorous fish.
