Tropica Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig'
Plant in 5 cm pot
Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig' is usually an undemanding stem plant that grows 20-40 cm tall.
However, if intensely pink leaves are desired, it requires strong lighting. The pattern with the light leaf veins is probably caused by a viral infection, which leads to insufficient chloroplast production in the cells near the veins, making them appear white. However, the infection cannot be transmitted to other plants in the aquarium and is harmless.
