Leptodictyum riparium (Shore Moss) is a slender, upright moss that tolerates both high and low temperatures.

Often called "thread-like moss," Leptodictyum riparium is found in most parts of the world, but is believed to originate from Europe. It has an intense, slightly transparent green color. It is an undemanding and simple moss that can attach itself to rocks and tree roots in the aquarium.

Growth is vigorous and fast, requiring regular trimming. A generally good plant for beginners who want to create a unique effect in the aquarium. The moss is popular in nano aquariums and is often used for breeding and cover.
